Board games is one of my hobbies. For those who don’t know them, there is way more beyond Trivia and Monopoly, so I made this app to make a little easier to find new games you might like, based on thousands of users preferences.

Boardgamegeek is the best board game community online, and hosts tons of data, which can be browsed through an API. Games info and user ratings have been downloaded and models like Collaborative Filtering and Asociation Rules have been developed. Besides, in order allow a new user to experiment with their own preferences and recommendations, a Shiny web application has been deployed.
